Thanks Stephanie, this was a great explanation of how to use this product. It really does hide your scalp well 😊

I agree it's a good place to start. I think it was good for me to start with toppik and I'm happy I found toppers. There is definitely a time and place for this product!

Are you sensitive to wool by any chance? The keratin in Toppik is from wool. There are other brands that use a cotton based fiber. I used to use one called Caboki and loved it.

Thanks so much. This is very helpful. Thinning from lupus and now being on Warfarin. It feels very sad even though I know it is not a big problem as problems go. But I would like to look closer to normal. You are beautiful by the way!

Hi and thank you so much for your comments! You made my day! I'm so sorry to hear about your hair loss! It's really a tough thing to accept. Hair toppers make it much easier! I spent about 6 months on the fence before I bought a topper form Uniwigs. I look back and wish I bought one years before I did. It was such a good decision and helped me to feel much more confident!

They call it "keratin fibers" because calling it what it actually is would be off-putting to anyone who has a bit of empathy for animals. Toppik is made from animal hair or wool and dyed with petroleum-derived colourants. If you like animals or you find Toppik itchy, try one of the cotton-based alternatives which are dyed with plant extracts. No more itching and no more animal cruelty.
