TopPop was the first regular dedicated pop music TV show in the Dutch language area. Dutch broadcaster AVRO aired the programme weekly, from 1970 to 1988. Presenter Ad Visser hosted the show for its first fifteen years.

I did a song with Jacki once in about 2000, she did the favour for a producer mutual friend and had already had a string of huge hits in comparison to my one hit wonder. She was super cool, made friends with everyone in the studio and sung like an angel. she didn't know me from Adam yet had no problem lending her incredible voice to my song without fuss. It was an honour to sing with her, such a nice lady too.
