Hi Carlos, The final weight is 17 kg. Even with a smaller engine (e.g. Saito FG 90-R3), you would need to add weight to reach the correct CG. So, I don't believe that this plane can be build under 15 kg.

I suppose the engine has installed without disallignement for right trust due to big size of engine and not enough space on the cowl, is it?

Correct, the engine sits straight in the middle of the cowl without any side or down pull. During takeoff, you need to compensate that with some rudder input, but other than that there is no negative impact.

@@OliverTreichel many many thx oliver… I have the same problem wit my dla 128 4 cyl . The corsair is still under working and hoping to maiden flight in the next 2/3 month. I was afraid to mount the engine on the center. Do you use a gyro?

@@antonioscrivo4036 Yes, I have a PowerBox Mercury installed which includes a Gyro. However, it's turned off most of the time. I don't use it for takeoff and landing becasue I don't like the Gyro keeping the nose up during landing as it may slow down the plane too much without notice. btw. Have you enforced the wing joiners? There were some reports of broken wing joiners during flight, so I replaced mine with a sandwich of carbon fiber and ply wood. I also enforced the center wing section.

I'm one of the admins of this forum and although it is mostly German, we do have some international members that post in their native languages. Feel free to join as well and use a translator to follow the conversations. At least, you will be able to watch the photos 😉.
