Josh here! Thank you very much for taking the time to review The Armado 6.5. This knife is the grandchild of a model I've worked on for several years. My mantra is "make it and keep it simple but efficient" The Armado embodies this, with that being said, there is no perfect knife and your feedback is very valuable to TOPS and me. I am always looking for opportunities to improve myself, my products and designs. I knew that TOPS was THE company to make my vision a reality not just because of their amazing quality but also because of the people. Leo has an amazing team that loves what they do and the community. It warms my heart to hear how much you love the Armado and that you will be carrying it on your trip. I'll be linking your review and sharing it all over my social media. Thanks again brother!

The TOPS Moccasin Ranger is one of the next knives I get. The only one of theirs I have so far is The Devil's Claw 2 (hideous red liners dyed black), and I love the thing!

I call that one in the "sweet spot" for knives. Perfect size and weight for delicate to serious work. I agree with you brother, those extended hilts of bare steel with the lanyard holes tend to dig into my pinky as well and I have gone as far as grinding one all the way off on a Busse I have which made it a 100% better chopper.
@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors7 ай бұрын
100% percent brother! I believe I'm going to remove this one. And it's no disrespect to the designer at all it just doesn't work for me. Whereas the rest of the knife is perfect
@frankcrabbe64647 ай бұрын
That looks like a slicer brother. Reminds me a little bit at a warthog. Good use of the blade, straight up. Tops is also a brand that brings a lot of realy good knives, over here, out of my price range, but I love them, specially the tops steel eagle tanto, the large and smaller model. Defo one of my top 5 want list..... but you know, the damn money everytime.....😢😢realy frustrating somethimes... love and positive vibes for you and your family brother.
