@@braedonduncan2858 :-) Understod:-) I bought the special edition Bushcraft machete 5160 steel, coating, 53-55HRC, 16" blade, micarta…) from Ontario knives, just today:-) I´m going to make some intro maybe this evening or tomorrow + a test of course and frankly, it could be the best choice for up to mid- range machete tasks. AND, for 1/2 price of the TOPS. Just for you to know… FM

I think you can't compare a kukri to a machete. After all a kukri is a combat knife, not made for chopping etc :)

Hi, thank you for the comment. The kukri is there just to see the difference. As far as I know, a kukri is a weapon the same as an all-around tool. I know, many people think about it mostly as a part of Gurkha soldiers, but the kukri knife serves in many other tasks. Here is a part of an article from some interesting side (linked next). "The khukuri is a daily household utility tool for common Nepalis from dawn to dusk assisting in their daily household chores like cutting meat, whittling twigs, making ways clearing bushes, etc and is the security companion." www.greatgurkhakhukuri.com/history-of-nepalese-kukri/ have a great day.
