I got two just now. The tip doesn’t worry me at all. Using it with its intended while with care and respect, this blade will last forever. The finger ring does feel rough. It’s fast in the hand and the sheath is good. Wish it had the sheath lock like my esee cm6 does. Glad I have one brand new for the collection of the blades I have the requires a back up due to how much I like it.

I can make those things! Buuuut, this sheath wasn't bad to be honest. I'd just prolly throw a tek lok on it and carry it cross-draw scout, or with molle attachments for a vest or chest rig.

Picked this knife up last week, and couldn't be happier with it. Although it's "illegal" to open carry in Canada, for a camp/cottage/at home knife. I love this thing in every regard ❤️ the size of knife is perfect, the blade shape makes it insanely easy to resharpen. The 1095 steel makes it dull super slow, but even when one edge does, I just turn it around for a freshly sharpened blade. The handle is incredibly comfortable in the hand, and the sheath is straight out of a knife nerds dreams

Oh Good point! I didn't even think about that but if I recall it was right near the guard. It wasn't a "fast" knife by any means but it moves well and was comfortable when changing directions during the cut. Good catch! 👍

Tops makes some interesting blades but the handle shapes usually feels like I'm holding a brick.

I know just what you mean! With this one, I was more concerned with potential hot spots on the cross guard but the handle didn't bother me. The pig sticker and the ICE dagger also had nice-feeling handles I thought...

Could you make a hatchet kydex for the belt? Maybe open on the top with leather strap over the top with snap.
