I visit this delightful and characterful town and City Port, part of Devon's Capital City, Exeter.
I let my camera's lens conduct you on a tour of this fascinating town.

It's hard to pick a favourite part of Devon because just like Topsham there is so much to see and do all over. The antique centre is worth a look. I say look unless you have deeper pockets than I. You can see avocets on the river and the nature reserve if you are lucky. Check out the mouth of the Otter which is close by. They are rewilding it by letting the sea come in so it can revert to salt marsh. Further inland the beavers are now a wild and free species on the Otter. The working mill at Otterton is also worth a lingering visit.

Excellent points and comments there John. Yes, the mouth of the Otter around Budleigh Salterton is well worth an explore. I love Otterton Mill too. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍 Cheers Paul

Topsham would have to be my favorite because of my family connection to the Town. My Dad was a NZ POW during WW2, At the end of war he was taken in by his distant family who lived on the Strand in Topsham. He spent 3 months there to recuperate. I visited Topsham( from NZ) in 2019 with my distant cousin who showed me the family Homes and that Church (in your Photo) where his parents got married in 1945. My Dad was a Groomsman. Thank you for the great photos and the memories.

Thank you Ted! Yes, Exmoor is certainly an area that I do want to cover on my channel - but will probably be after I have done the Severn Way. Cheers, Paul

Hi Stephen & Yhana. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you are both well. Yes, the Short Bites series is definitely something I will continue to do. I have been doing them since my channel started last year. Originally, they were meant to be filler elements, something to upload when I didn't have enough time to make a full video or travel further away. However, they have since evolved to be set pieces in themselves, with the focus on the photography, which can take as long as a full video to do to be honest! More coming soon. Take care, Paul.
