They need to add Sinner, Ruud Rune and Tsitsipas for the men. For women, Jabeur, Sablenka and Pegula. Legends, I want Venus, Sabbatinj, Davenport, Henin and Seles and on the men’s side Borg, Wilander, Courier, Lendl and Rafter.

Djokovic , Rublev, Kyrios, all the men active players from topspin 3 and 4. Coco Gauff, Slobs Stephens, Madison Keys, Osaka , Emma , and again all active women’s players from previous topspin games

Finally, the gameplay is looking good in this video. It seems like most other reviews are from gamers that know absolutely nothing about tennis at all. Can't wait for Friday!

Hopefully this gets the continual update and development from the team and doesn’t just get tossed aside. Tennis games won’t get a yearly release like NBA or what not but I’d like to see continual updates and things added until the release of the next game in the series. This of course depends on it being successful so hopefully it is and we can finally enjoy a great tennis game again!

Battle pass limited to cosmetic items... except for the non-cosmetic items. Got it. Would love a fully fleshed out topspin, but unfortunately from what I'm gathering it seems like its just your typical 2k cash grab. Battle passes, VC, "early access", plenty of basic features missing, small roster that they will trickle in with "free" updates. Will likely not sell well out of the gate because it is incomplete and already very niche. Then they will release the rest of the content they've already made but didn't put in the game, then shelve it for another 10 years. Will be watching user reviews when it releases and hope to be proven wrong.

Gameplay over graphics is why gaming use to be good. Now it’s graphics over gameplays and games suck

@@JamesWhite-pv3orAgree. As long as as the game doesn't crash, graphics shouldn't be the number one factor or deal breaker when buying a game. As long as said game is enjoyable to play, that is good enough for me.

Just started playing and must say I think top spin fans will definitely like it. Graphics are actually decent and the weight of the power shots feels great plus on the harder the difficulty the AI is hard AF lol. Enjoying it so far

Has anyone with a 1440p monitor and Series X noticed that since the last console update the image on the dashboard and in-games is significantly worse (softer)? Even games that ran at 4k before now look like smeared with vaseline :\

Yep, it's like they just didn't want to give us next gen graphics. Not worth the money, I got a refund after I played it for two hours. My biggest complaints was the graphics, the slow gaming, hard to time in the power shots.

As someone that still has access to TS4 and plays it regularly, ill get this at a steep discount or when it comes on PS Plus. I appreciate the update but this essentially looks like a graphics patch to TS4. Thats not a bad thing as there isnt a lot wrong with TS4 but $70 is ridic

according to this suspicious review, the game seems to be absolutely perfect, a masterpiece, which doesn't seem to be the case at all. by the way, if you don't mind about outdated graphics and are interested in an excellent tennis simulator, try Tennis Elbow 4, I've been playing it for a few weeks and the experience is brilliant, every match drains you mentally as if you were really playing and every mistake you make feels like a real mistake, really impressive stuff.

I paid $60 dollars to play TWT and AO tennis which were both atrocities. I’ll pay good money to play topspin on my ps5.

@@Gidoza I think most hardcore top spin fans wanted an evolution of the game, not a copy paste. Don't kid yourself into thinking that fans of top spin wanted to pay full price for the same game. I played TS4 back in the day as well and it's disappointing that such low effort was put in with a laughably small roster that 2k will inevitably charge us for.

Sorry, but the player models look horrendous. It is inexcusable for a game not to have exceptional accuracy in their faces in this day and age and the reviewer passed over it as if it was no big deal. A hard pass for me. They should also create a tennis game that includes all the greatest players from the 70s and 80s.
