The only season I REALLY disliked was the one with Adam Lambert - he was robbed of his win, but whatever - he is MORE succesful then the actuall winner (called Philip, iirc), so that is a win for me. I still stand behind my words - I specified that she is "the" most "professional" - not even Kelly and Carry were that good in the America Idol format. I’m an old lady but I have watched American Idol since day one. I’ve never missed a series. I have to say out of all of those years that this young lady by far is the best of the best. After moving to Mexico 6 years ago , I rarely get to see American TV unless its Netflix . This is the first time I've seen Abi perform . Gobsmacked is the only word that comes to mind here . She is already a headliner in my estimation and i am only halfway through the full 2024 season . As the songs progress, her look changed. She was attractive but got more so. The costume and makeup people brought out a great beauty to match her voice. She also got better as a stage presence. She played the crowd better in the later songs.

👏“A Star is Born”, the tru story. At the audition, her clothes, hair, makeup, body language screamed; “underconfident; I’m poor, and ugly.” 6 auditions later… that red outfit? 😍 lord have mercy! She’s so hot! 🔥🔥the confidence. Man she was truly reborn. She’s amazing. I know fame and money inevitably change most people. But I hope she doesn’t change. I hope she stays humble; it’s a huge part of why she won IMO.
