I'm more confident than I thought. I actually have people telling me how confident they think I am, how great I am.. Meanwhile I question it often.. have negative thinking patters and I work on cognitive behavioral therapy. Deep down, I know I am confident in myself. But I have issues with failure, abandonment, and relationships that are deep rooted (I've been diagnosed with BPD). Yet, I try my best each day to make the day a "+". Exercise, diet, and enforcing boundaries and values in my life that subsequently garner respect from those people who are worth it. Perception can be reality.. and despite my insecurities, I project a genuine version of myself as best I can and power through my psychological roadblocks.

What's hard about this is that there are so many people who are the non-confident and it wears you down. ALSO, the ignore constructive criticism is hard to differentiate from those who are just telling you what to do period and disown you if you don't listen. Like, I have career goals in mind but many think they know how to tell me how to do it (when they aren't even in that field) or could care less about that path and tell me I need to do THEIR path. It's so frustrating especially if it's people you love who do this.

The painting I do is usually on planters or plain cement statues or actual houses (like on the walls lol, random I know). I am a stay at home mother as well.
