It's such a shitty metric to base attraction on...hair It does nothing, it serves no real purpose and it's completely unrelated to strength or athleticism. Even worse it actually covers up imperfections and obscures a weak jawline, poor facial symmetry and balances a wonky side profile. Sort of how covid masks make people more attractive by visibly hiding 2/3rds of the persons face, beards do the same thing. The only thing it does show is that the person has more primitive hair genetics (less evolved) and probably a good flow of healthy hormones though the body. I´ve gone from clean shaven to a viking beard and back. Well, my hair is long too and i like it this way (at least after i got used to it) but long hair and beard was too much and the viking style is not always a good look in the modern world. Also when people say are you crazy, do not shave your beard since it natural for men.....mmhhh by this logic we all should let everything grow since it all natural.....like finger nails foot nails, hair everywhere....nah.......maybe i will grow the beard out sometimes again and go back but damn.....no one will come close to cut my hair. That is what women like....especially if you are a. bit older. Almost 3 from 4 rocking a kind of (often terrible looking) beard but there are not much with longer full and dense hair on their head. If i could hold my hair on the head for a lifetime i would give my beard for it any day :)

But most men told me the opposite and that i look older with a full beard but kind of looks more authoritarian and i should cut my hair short and let the beard grow or at least let it medium lenghts to a short full beard. But i do. not care. While i would not let tell me anyone how i should look and go my own way i respect more the opinion from my wife (since we are together over 20 years and i also really agree with her in this case. The beard is dense and nice but (the cheeks took way longer to fill nicely up but it works too) it get too fast out of control and got a bit wavy too if i would not use tons of beard wax or something like this. Also it was in the way for my job while the longer hair is no problem. At the end i also have a good jawline and so i find it looks really better. I am still not grey at mid 40´s and so i might have had luck with my hair genes. I just think dark beards look better and i really like the clean shaven look with longer hair now. I also just started to let my hair grow longer first after i was 40+.....i wish i have started it in my 20´s.
