I dont see why they can't bring back enty, its a very historic ship and after the global cv nerfs, she is on par with carriers like kaga and chikalov.

because if they did they would lose the pay pig stream of unending wealth from whales throwing tens of thousands of dollars at WG for containers trying to get her.

Nah, Kaga and chkalov are stronger than Enterprise. She more like Zeppelin.. But there are two other cv are sells for US fleet, its commercial ... sell this one and others will ask to sell anothers ships like belfast 7 tier, or kutuzov or something like this.

I know why this Enterprise will never return by why don't WG make a variant like Belfast '43? You could do Enterprise '42 with her outfitted at Midway with SBD's and TBD's like Hornet, just make the AP bombing SBDs drop more like conventional dives, and switch the B-25s out for HE bombing SBDs. with all squadrons having flights of 8 in 2 drops of 4. And because SBDs and TBDs are squishy being tier6-7 planes just give Enterprise a quick recharge time.

You could also do the same with other historical ships that went to the shadow realm. You could do a T6 Cavour '37 to stand in for the T5 Giulio Ceasare, much like Novoryissyk, just under the Italian flag.
