You may knot have know during your trail ride....to switch between ECO / TRAIL / BOOST modes, just hit the power button quickly. It cycles between all 3 modes without the menu. FYI: I have this bike...orange, large frame. I swapped out the pedals, grips, and seat, then added an adjustable stem (because I'm a tall guy and I do more treking than MTB'ing).

How does the large frame size fit you for your height? I’m a little over 5-10 so I’m assuming that large would be the way to go for me.

Hi, do you know if dropper post can be install to the bike or no? Is the bike dropper post ready or no? If yes, do I need to buy the complete kit like seat, wires and thumb switch? Thanks….

@@rickysolis8291 it's dropper post ready. I don't have one so I can't really comment on it.

@@iakona23 the frame is pretty small in my opinion, but that's how MTB frames are designed. I need a pretty long seat post (which I have not bought yet) to get full leg extension when trekking.

I got one of these upgraded the forks to Marzocchi Bomber Z2 e-optimized feels so good now. Definitely suggest upgrading the forks (they are trash) and a dropper! Then you have a legit EMTB!

This is the kind of bike that my in-laws need - great for flat trails, rail trails but not so good for challenging uphill sections (we have >30% grades where I live). Looks like a really good do it all - commuting, trail and light offroad bike. I'm impressed.

there's actually an easier way to change power modes if you haven't figured it out since the post of the video but i'm sure you have since this video is 5 months old now. You only need to hit the red button to switch power modes and you can do this on the fly without stopping.

Hey mate would you recommend the Velotric Summit or the Ramblas for some 20-60 mile mtb trails, some decent commuting and hill climbing?
@TopToBottomMTB6 ай бұрын
The Summit will make a better commuter and the Ramblas is a better mountain bike to ride trails… Both great bikes though… As you can see from both my reviews, both are super capable on the trails but the Summit goes faster and has a throttle.

I realize components is where they are getting us the savings, but I imagine with a little bit of upgrading here and there over time like forks, dropper and brakes and you'd have a great bike

I don’t know about it being a great bike with modifications, but it would certainly be better. It still wouldn’t climb as well as a bike with a mid-drive, and that’s what has me hesitant to buy one. I need something with great range that climbs well and goes over 20 mph. Problem is, that’s hard to find in an affordable package.

Like your vids! What’s the total real world range on fully single charge? Also is Aventon Ramblas a better bike compare to this bike? Thanks!
@TopToBottomMTB6 ай бұрын
Thanks!🤜🏼🤛🏼 Range really depends on a lot of things like rider weight and terrain but at 185lbs I got about 20miles throttle only and about double that when pedalling.

The Ramblas has a better build for mountain biking but the Summit is faster and has a throttle. Also $1000 cheaper…

Commuter bike when compared to Aventon Ramblas. Why? - Hub drive - 28mph thumb assist throttle style. Less power. Price is favorvable hoever for those less serious about hitting the trails. 27" wheels. Less front fork travel. Lockout is nice on the fork though.

Trail climbing performance is never going to be good - the gear range is not great, and the hub motor won't perform at low speed - it doesn't appear to be a geared hub motor.

@@hindesite show me a factory production hub motor e-bike that DOESNT have a geared hub motor. I'm not saying they don't exist but the vast majority of all hub motor ebikes are geared. The only other hub motor I know of is a gearless DIRECT DRIVE hub motor, and I'm not sure I've ever seen a factory production bike that uses one. I can guarantee you that the Summit bike isn't using a direct drive hub motor. It's a geared hub motor like all the rest.
