Thanks Timmy for showing this process, I think it is bad, I also agree that recycling is better, however Rivergame has plenty of room here to update that tool, stabilizer should allow me to select which stats I want to keep and also which ones I want to take and put wlon which slot so I can actually combine stats of 2 gold equipment the way I want not the game wants sińce we spend resources on getting those gold gears

Can I ask, I have a dilemma. I’ve done well with Gypsy/Striker/Snake all with L5 exclusives. I’ve seen in War Zone SVS that many of the top ten players are using Nelle/Striker/Brynn - it’s a solid line-up, you’d like to believe they know what they’re doing - and you’ve provided some great videos on just that line-up. It’s a dilemma, because if I follow that line, then Gypsy goes to air, makes sense, but Snake goes to a second army march - in effect redundant. Grateful for your thoughts as ever T-me.

I’d also like to add from experience if the gear your taking from to add has the same stat and it lands on that same stat it will either replace fully with the new one or it will add on a little . If I recall if the new stat percentage is higher it won’t add on it will replace . If it is lower it will add on . I’ve had this happen to me multiple times

Not entirely sure what you mean : You have the base VALUES of HP and Atk on units (the higher the level …the higher the stats ). THEN: You have the ATK , HP , dmg +/- as STATS in percentage (%) cause they apply on the FIX values of HP and Atk which the units have . Ofc , the higher the stats …the less improvement you get . Example : If your stats are 1000% ATK …and you get 10 % extra Atk …that’s FAR more buff then if this extra 10% ATK would add to your stats of 3000-4000 %

The refinement takes the gear away because you gamble when refining. If you was trying to put it on gear with a better stats and it selected a good stat it's a way of changing your mind. Otherwise you could keep refining the same pieces of gear over and over

The capability of recycling ES shards already exists. You can disassemble them for skill chips and then trade skill chips for other ES skills. It's worthless because it only offers ES skills for free to play heroes and the exchange rate is bad, so I'm not suggesting anyone do it. I am just pointing out that they do not need to implement any new feature for this, they simply need to expand it so that the red skill boxes can offer both free to play and pay to play heroes. I think TopWar might do this someday, but I don't think they will ever give us what we really want - the ability to recycle them for ES skill shards so we can select what ES skill we get from them. I suspect an expansion of the heroes available under the existing skill chip system is the closest we will ever get.

I don't think I will be refining gear for quite some time, but what I will do when the time comes is to stack a single peice of gear with Triple Gold Stats for a specific unit i.e. Army DMG+ x3. This way you don't have the chance of loosing a gold stat, so long as you use a stablizer, as it will either fill the other slots or improve the stat that is already there. As for a peice of gear with only a single stat on it works the same way as a stablizer does, they could be valuable for refinement later on.

It depends a lot on the state of your gear (special effects). Till you reach a solid base (boost) in stats due to merging special effects ..there is NO a point to play with the refine

@@t-me8295 for sure there is no point in playing around with it in most peoples cases but I just thought I'd note that you can reduce the Stabilizers needed later on especially seeing how you upgraded the blue stat to a purple stat which I find interesting also and makes me wonder if you can upgrade gold stats using purple ones so long as they are the same type of buff

I want to understand why sometimes it would upgrade and increase the value like in your example the same air atk went up partially, but sometimes it will be the same and replace and not be additive, that to me is confusing, great video by the way.

Like everything else in TopWar, it's based on random numbers. I am a heavy user of the refine feature, and it burns me all the time, but I have no regrets about using it. If you have gold equipment on all 3 of your main marches, it's a good way to improve your equipment. I find refine to be more effective than recycle for disposing of unwanted gold gear. If you don't already have gold equipment on all your marches though, definitely don't play with either refine or recycle.

No you cannot. They are what are called Mutually Exclusive Skills. Trigger either of them, and the other one becomes unavailable with it. They are intended for players who didn't participate or were not around for previous collaboration events and will never be able to get the previous skins.

Great creativity T-me on your recent vids 👏 Can I ask, I’m a VIP9, rarely get skins… my main is army, which skin would recommend? I’ve used mountain academy for ages… I’ve got 350 vouchers in the current event, with 15 days left I hope to get the 999 required. Grateful for your advice as every T-me.

They aren't making the best army skins available in that selection box unfortunately... Best you can do on this event is probably Sandstorm Battleship or Floating Colosseum, and keeping Mountain Academy is probably a better option. Army skins to be on the lookout for are Saddle City, Digital Matrix, Trojan Prime, and Bear of Hearts - none available on this event. I would say that is from best to worst for what is currently available for army-specific skins. That said, if you don't have all of the skill skins, there's some good ones in this event. We've got Acadia, Shadow Dragon, Atlantis, and Storm Factory in there. Crystal Cabin and Flying Carpet would be next best skill skins if you have the others. Super Miner is a very helpful skin, and that's in there too.

I will be honest with you , Andrew . Skins are like the heroes …the best are the universal ones. The gear right now absolutely broken the game . I would NOT stress so much about the skins . You have the mountain …you have void matrix / pantheon (for external maps ) …the TC skins which are great and can be earned slowly by playing TC . From my perspective, bear of hearts is the best for army . If I would start today , I would absolutely ignore the skins ..just the ones I have just mentioned….and focus on the most important thing : the gear with special effects

Personally I think refinement can be worth doing especially if it comes to transferring legendary stat to a better piece. It’s a roll of the dice if you’re trying to add a second or 3rd legendary stat.

@@t-me8295 100% agree it needs to be reworked it’s a complete crap shoot. Being able to assign legendary stats to a gear is awesome but it’s only if spenders right now. You have to be willing to lose the gear and stat you’re trying to transfer. I’d love to see it where you could not only lock the stat you want to transfer but also lock the stat you don’t want to lose

I agree with this. If and only if you have gold gear for all 3 of your main marches already, I have found that I have much better luck with refine than I do with recycle as far as getting rid of unneeded gold gear. The drop rate on gold catalysts for recycle is far too low, and I find there's less uncertainty with refining than there is with recycling. I know those golds could potentially be going on 4th or 5th marches, but I would personally rather improve my 3 mains than put them on my extra marches.
