I've fished a regular frog and fished the popping frog. I'm starting to believe I can fish a popping frog for all my frog fishing needs. Even if I want a settle presentation,I can do it with the popping frog because it allows the frog to stay in the strike zone longer because of the cuped lip. Or I can create all types of commotion on the fly when needed without changing frogs. 🐸🎣👊🏿💪🏾

Call me nuts but if I’m in crazy cover, most I’m using is 25-30lb braid. I’m confident that it’s strong enough but if you can’t keep em up go for more you’d be surprised tho. I love 15lb but it’s gotta be much cleaner lake or pond

I use poper frogs only when there are tons of flying objects on or just off the surface and the fish are feeding off the top. The realy big fish might play around on the surface but they are not really feeding off of nats or babey dragon flies. I make the frog look like it is feeding on the surface. So, it is a pop then just a little movement like it is swallowing or chewing, then the frog waits lines up another fly and pop! then repeat. The only problem is not to freek out when your frog gets sucked down by a whirlpool like a fish opened a drain to empty the small lake you are fishing.

My daughter is really into fishing she's 15 and outfishes me all the time. She wants me to buy her googan baits but I can't stretch it right now 😑 I did get a mtb hoping that I'd get her one in that box but unfortunately didn't. Caught my pb on the filthy frog this year can’t thank you guys enough for such a good product and not to mention the price on shop Karl’s. Filthy frog is killing it this year. Didn’t have a scale but was 23 inches long and 18 on the girth. I live in Friday Harbor Wa San Juan islands. Said 8.75 on one website equation and 9.33 on the other anyone know what the difference is on each websites equation. Does it depend on where you live
