FYI just picked one up at BCF, was in love as soon as I picked it up and got a feel for it. Blown away by the feel of it. 4000 size feels like air to hold, not "nuggetty" or heavg in any areas, very well balanced from top to bottom - MQ body just makes it feel like it's all one piece with no moving components which is incredible to feel. I have not yet got the chance to take it for a spin. But I can't wait. Tried out a 4000 stradic to see which was a winner, and honestly loved every aspect of the TD black more than the stradic. It was also cheaper. Definitely worth taking a look at it at your local tackle store and seeing for yourself.

Light drag pressure has helped increase my conversion rate.... if you let them run they shake their head less and don't spit the hooks as often. And 6 pound leader definitely brings on more bites when it's tough.

Hey there, my full set up in this video is an atomic arrows bream’s flats surface paired with a nasci 1000 (sadly that is the rod and reel) 4lb braid and 8lb jthread. I was also using a bassday sugapen and a skinny pop junior

Up in the serpentine River mate. If you get out late on the entrance to the coodanup estuary you can catch a few round there. Good spot for tailor here and there as well.

@@ponydong forgot to mention the skeeters lol. A good can of bushman's fixes that. There are a few big mulloway floating around. Mate caught one 2 nights ago 96cm. Hell of a fight in it for the long haul. Barra are defo more action. There is a place called Golden ponds you can go and pay to fish the ponds they have a barra pond if you need your fix.
