(Spoiler alert: It's not) While I do see the truth in Jews being there and being promised that land, that is NOT why I believe the land is rightfully theirs. I don't base it on the bible or any divine right at all. After WWI, when the Ottomans lost control over their Middle East territory to the British, the British Mandate of Palestine was born. This was a geographical area that stretched from modern day Gaza to modern day East Jordan. In 1917 the British said they wanted Jews to build on that land, which they already were doing. Later in 1947, the land was split into a Jewish land (Israel) and an Arab land (Jordan). Jordan IS Palestine. When Jordan, Syria, Egypt, and all other surrounding Arab nations thought it would be welcoming to attack Israel at the same time from all fronts in 1967, Israel showed them their military capability. Israel had conquered land stretching two over double it's current size and half of that had oil. Israel gave it all back to the Arab nations for peace, but Egypt refused to take Gaza back, and Jordan refused to take their areas of the West Bank back. Hence, the Palestinians were created. Everything that happened after is unimportant to my point, but Israel never stole land from the Palestinians. They tried to get rid of it, if anything. And did you forget the time where Israel offered literally EVERYTHING the PA asked for excluding Jerusalem (which is already shared) for peace? The PA turned it down for war. Speaking of universities, did you know that in the US someone waved an Israeli flag on campus and was called a terrorist-supporter and when he returned waving an ISIS flag, people SUPPORTED him and said he was simply misunderstood by the media. Liberals make up a huge portion of the US and it makes me sick. Don't pretend that there is a major anti-Palestinan, pro-Israel bias in the US.

Trying to learn Arabic here, how do I know which rapper is singing in which dialect? Aren't there like dozens of dialects they speak?

Great question. Yes there is alot of Arabic dialects but all of em are so similar with some differences ofc. All of them are singing in a Levantine (shami) dialect. I’m pretty sure they’re all originally from Palestine but live in Jordan or have the Jordanian identity.

i suggest you learn in the shami dialect since u can communicate with almost all arab people (except Moroccan , tunisian people)
