I think the reason why the ending felt unsatisfying for me was that I was hoping to see them together, hoping to see them act like a couple. Then I realized, we have. Pretty much the entire show they've acted like they've been together and acted like they've been in love, even if they hadn't realized it. So in the ending, we didn't need any more, because we've already been shown the love that's there before we even knew what it was. Edit: Yes, I have seen the aftercredits

I'm help you finance! But sadly, the studio wouldn't bring out another one. Because their has been incredible demand for season since a decade, and if the creators wanted, they could've chipped out more money from a season 2 but believe it or not, that would not have the same vibe that season 1 had. Season 2 would become a different kind of anime altogether, maybe similar to Tonikawa. And perhaps, the writers wanted to preserve the little beautiful world they had created. They wanted this much more than the money they could make so, let's try to be happy with what we have💛

I watched the series twice over 2 days. I watched it in Japanese the first time on the first day. Then I watched it in English the second time on the second day. I'd love a season 2. I can think of countless story lines to go through but IDK which would be best. I hope they consider coming out with another manga series for this then adapt it.
