"You are not under law, but under grace", Explained for the 21st century: In your city the Department of Transportation has passed a "Red Light Grace Law". From now on any penalty for running red lights are lifted. You will no longer receive a ticket or fine for running a red light. If you accidentally run a red light and get caught you will be told to be more careful in the future and you will be forgiven. What then? Should you go bananas running red lights left and right all day, just because you will be forgiven? BY NO MEANS! If you go on running red lights all day you're simply a slave to reckless driving. You will eventually pay dearly for your actions. The grace afforded to you is a gift to avoid being fined or arrested, not a license to reckless driving.
