Rating the modules based on how much their dressed for the weather: 1.Luka. She has gloves and a warm hat. Her coat looks very warm as well as her boots. She dressed up for the weather nicely 2. Meiko. Good idea picking earmuffs, ears usually get cold. The coat looks very warm. She might need gloves however. Also, her tights don't look very warm. Overall, she is prepared for the snow. 3. Kaito. His coat looks okay, but I feel like it might be cold on his arms. He probably needs gloves too. But, he prepared for the snow with his boots. 4. Len. Earmuffs are good, and he's wearing good boots and gloves (I think). But why is he wearing shorts? Isn't he going to get cold? 5. Miku. Glad she's wearing earmuffs and gloves. We seriously need more boys and adult vocaloids. Seriously, out of all of them, Len, Kaito, and Meiko's voice hit the most. Len is really useful as he has a wide vocal range and his voice sounds so warm for this song. Kaito is cool, hearing finally a low tone in the middle of the song, it hits differently, but in a good way. Meiko, do I need to talk about Meiko? You all know that her voice sounds super good. Her voice has this kind of different accent than the others, which fits the song really well. I seriously need a Len-only, Kaito-only, Meiko-only covers.

I made a pretty good analysis on this song so imma just- I don't think the snowman is a representation of hope, I think the mother is the snowman and the snowman is built of lies. Hear me out. The lyrics in the song specify the boy lying to the mother about being good at sports and having lots of friends, but when the snowman offers to just try that out for real, the boy says "It's too late for that now, my mother will disappear soon". The lyrics also specify spring coming soon. I think spring isn't a source of hope too. I think spring is when the snowman will finally melt (the mother will die). Spring is right after winter. This songs isn't confirmed to be taken place in december. "Real" winter goes until Febuary/March I believe. Spring would be just around the corner, spring is when the snowman would melt, aka the mother would die. Since spring is right around the corner "the mother will die very soon". The boy lied to the mother and the evidence I provided could feed into my theory that either the boy sees the snowman as a mother, or the mother is represented through the snowman. A mother would try and encourage their kid to try things out, but the kid said earlier, "it's too late for that". By the time he got all that down, the mother would be dead, leaving no point for the boy to try out those things, cause after all, he was just doing that to please his mother. The songs lyrics "His lies became firm, tumbled over and hardened" I think is a representation of how the snowman is built of lies. It hardening is why the snowman didn't melt earlier (the mom didn't die earlier). The mother believed these lies and wanted to see her son suceed at getting those things, making her be able to hold on longer. Also, if you still don't believe me, there is a line sung by Len in the song. "If I'm not a good boy like this, my mom will disappear soon". The mom (the snowman) is built of lies. If the boy doesn't keep lying about his life, the mom will eventually disappear, because, well, it's built of lies. I like to think of it as this. If a snowman doesn't get enough balance or snow (enough lies) it will either melt, disintegrate into the rest of the snow, or fall over (die). Also, the line "however much you brush and remove, those are falling and increasing" could mean, no matter how much you lie, it's still a lie. People are still gonna realize everything you said were lies at one point or another. The snowman will fall over because, well, it's built of something fake. There is a line that says "the last lie is a white lie, like snow" also feeds into this. When Kaito and Len go off about how the boy can change (2:38 or so), that's meant to mean how he can stop lying, get over the death of his "mother", and move on to a happier life despite dealing with death. The line "see what I told you mom? Don't go anywhere." is the boys last attempt to get his mother to stay and believe those lies. God I hope I'm not the only one who sees this song that way.
