Noob question. When it comes to your trait card deck, are the card effects always active when mapping? Or are they just cards that have a chance to show up in the zone after maps reset?

your trait is always active, the cards that show up are not active until you reach the final stage always giving +100% quant and whatever effect the individual card has

Where do you acquire the cards? are they just random choices to choose from? or do certain maps have a higher chance of getting them? like should i spam Steel Forge until i get all the cube cards? or where ever lol

You have to use cards to level them up to get new cards. Each map level will unlock more cards for you to get and level.

They changed so much about it I can't recommend it, there are ways to still make it pop off though but I'd suggest looking at hero ranking etc

they nerfed the desire beads card on the last small patch :( Announcement - January 4 Dear Torchlight Hunters, The Ember's Rest Hideout is planning a non-shutdown update on January 4th, with the specific update details as follows. • Fixed an issue where the "Engram Quantity" filter condition for Hero Relics was not working correctly in the filter. • Fixed an issue where the card [Respectful - Cube] did not properly convert Desire Crystals into Desire Beads at the intended rate; the card will now only convert 60% of Desire Crystals into Desire Beads as described in its text (previously was 100%). • Fixed an issue with the Legendary Gear Variel's Snicker where the Upper limit and Persistent duration of the Void Orb were abnormal. • Optimized the decloaking speed of the stealthy monsters in Aeterna, where decloaking will now occur immediately upon approaching within a defined distance. • Fixed the problem where some heroes were unable to receive buffs when using the skill "Focus Reload." Yea that's unfortunate. It's still worth running but really a bummer. Had a feeling it might have been bugged but didn't know for sure.

@@CrouchingTuna yeah update said it wad giving 100% instead of 60% but that wasnt the case because you still get crystals just not enough to roll . now you get 100-200+ crystals even with this setup and you dont get as much per map unlike before :(

This game makes very little sense to me in terms of farming currency. In PoE if I'm farming the highest tiers of maps, I'm making currency like crazy. In this game I've been farming Tier 8 for 2 days and I've made basically nothing. I've had maybe 3 items that sold for more than 100 FE. Might as well play SSF.

It might be your deck or your clear speed. Leveling my character for levels, T7 alone I’ve made 1k in sold goods. You should try this deck stack he has. I used it today and it’s 👌

My clear speed is more or less instant. The only thing that takes a little time to kill is if I Juice a map fully and there's certain cube bosses. Or if I juice a nightmare and the last boss has like 150% energy shield. I'm running with this deck today , we'll see what happens.@@jpdaye

Out of curosity, what kind of items do you sell? Are you selling items with 2x t1 as crafting bases? Maps? Currency? I think maybe I'm wasting too much time selling 2x t1 crafting bases and should be focusd on something else.@@jpdaye
