I love this animatic, but I do wonder Who hurt Tom to the point where he was willing to believe Tord when he belittled him? Or did Tord do that alone? Was Tom being bullied or something? Trouble at home? And why was Tord such an asshole to him? Why was he so toxic? Was it on purpose?

well in 3:25 you can see there is a lil box that says selfish, and another scene in 2:51 where it says "you are a lonely lonely lonely child because i will protect you forever. . ." so i think in a way tord is manipulating om in a way, because he loves him so much(???) not sure but thas my theory :p

@@swagcat9896 Yeah I understand that Tord is using manipulation to keep to from becoming independent and leaving him, but my question was 1. Was Tom in a bad place before getting with Tord (if so, why?) and 2. Why did Tord behave this way? I mean that question in a sense of what made him think this was a proper way to get Tom to stay with him, seeing as it ultimately f*cked Tom up. Did he not think about that happening? I don't struggle to see Tord's motivations as to why he treated Tom poorly, I just struggle to see why he thought it would end well. Why he thought that was the way to do it.

I’m a year late but here’s my answer. I think that Tord in this video shows a typical narcissistic behavior. On the other hand Tom is a good boy who was bullied at school. He is shy and struggles to talk with people. At one scene there was a writing on his desk that said smith like “nobody loves you gay monster” you can check it out if ur curious. I think that Tom was small shy gay bean who was bullied because of being good. That’s why his grades lowered poorly. Tord used it all to manipulate Tom to the point where he was thinking that he is the most worthless person in the world and perfect Tord saved him and was his whole world. He slowly took away his whole self esteem. Tom was dependent of Tord. Instead of helping him with his problem Tord took the selfish way of using Toms problems for the sake of making him his own. He used him like a toy. It’s a pretty popular manipulation technique which a lot of narcissist uses on their victims. However one day it was enough and Tom committed suicide. Then Tord realized how bad person he was and that he was selfish of doing this whole shit and how he was the worthless child or more like a worthless piece of shit.
