@@DyronHusky The entire 19th century was, that's the proper era of music boxes. Because of recorded music and other devices only 3 music box manuacturers being Reuge, Sankyo and Porter exist. Still going strong they all are. As for music box restoring, I only know of 2 restorers in the UK, said people being Steve Kember in Rye and James Preddy in northern England(The Music Box Restorer). They require an unimaginable amount of precision to restore. I have adjusted a couple of improperly positioned combs on my cuckoo clocks... 2 were successfull but I severely damaged 1 and now 3 teeth are broken off. GOTTA GET STEVE KEMBER!!!

I have one thats of remarkable history. Here's another BA Bremond with Chinese melodies. From the 1870s. Bovet brought music melodies from the orient in the 1850s. Not many around. However Pucini's works on the play Madama Butterfly was based around music box melodies, which were incorporated around melodies of the orient. Here's a music box. Sadly 😥 no music sheets. It took some research to track down this melodies out of another museum piece music box. This is a 6 melody.
