Tory, first of all- WOW !! I'm 50yrs old, as you can imagine my eyes ( my brain can't comprehend) in awe of what you're landing !! I remember Frankie Hill's parts and thought to myself, impossible ... then, H-Street, Plan B , Rick Howard, Mullen, Carroll, Hensley and so on... late 80s / early 90s , when street skating wasn't as accepted as it is now. I quit skating because of risk of injury ( already broke both arms, wrists, many ankle sprains....) and missing work. I've always followed skateboarding since- I've seen some of your vids and major injuries- I can't believe your mental state and how well you've healed !! You've done tricks in this video, that frankly breaks the laws of human and skateboarding physics !! 100' ledge- Pudwell " I can backside, frontside, tail slide, nose slide , nose blunt , tail blunt ...the whole f'n thing " !!! Incredible talent sir !!

I was 12 when True came out and Torey was my favourite skater at the time. The manager at the local shop gave me the DVD for free because he knew how excited I was. This part and the whole video easily met my high expectations at the time. I listened to "Can't always get what you want" on repeat for the following months, and apparently I still know all the words. I'm glad I got to experience that feeling before the whole industry moved to internet only release.
