I remember when tickets went on sale for this show. This was before the days of online ticket purchases and I went to the venue to buy tickets. I got there around 7:30 in the morning and the line was already around the block (3 turns). People had tents and sleeping bags. When the box office opened I got to about 10 people away when it SOLD OUT. I was devastated and cried for hours. On the day of show, I went to the venue and was hanging around the backstage area outside hoping, at least, to meet Tori. I didn't meet her but her wonderful guitarist, Steve Caton, saw me and asked why I was standing outside shivering in the cold. I told him what happened with the tickets. He said, "Come with me" and escorted me through the backstage door into the venue, turned me loose and said, "Have fun!". I will never forget that kindness, nor will I ever forget this amazing show.

Steve is amazing. I went to see her a I.U.P.and the tickets were sold out and just hang out out the venue and went to see a ska-punk show that some local kids were doing for a while. The band was punk-ska band was called Anti-Flag. Went back and Tori was done. I spoke to Steve and told him I drove like 100 miles to see the sold out show and no tickets were available. So I went to see a punk show close to here and told him they were amazing. And he introduced to me to Tori for a few and I shock her hand. Thank you Steve. Those were the days.

ruinsane100 I was in that crowd. The around the block ticket circus, and the show. It was dark when we got there so we made it into the Electric Factory lot. Was a very long, but quite entertaining morning. But then, we all got tickets! The concert was our first, and it was so fracking amazing to see her in a (relatively) small venue. From this angle, we may have been just to the left of the camera during the show. Very happy to relive this night, and remember the circus.

This has got to be one of the most riveting, dynamic, awesome, inspiring shows I've ever experienced. Tori was on fire here! I love the energy with the band and all those live version of 'From The Choirgirl Hotel' girls. Hope she brings the band back on the road in 2022.

I know! It is so rad when Tori is channeling that otherworldly vibe! She's actually really nice too! I don't know how she remembers the names of so many fans but she does and she's just one of the hardest working women in music 🎶

this show is SOOOO good. thank you! Love all the closeups of her. Would have loved to see this tour. Also, I would personally pay you to make the ads stop in the middle of the performance. Maybe you could switch monetization to just ads at the beginning? IDK how it works, but just a thought. Still grateful to see this!

No! Definitely not what she used to be, but I saw her in Cleveland in 2017 and was really impressed with the quality of her voice. It's changed, but has a glassy crystalline way about it. She's still got something going on. I sometimes wonder if her voice would be more preserved if she hadn't done soooo many live shows back in the day. I heard she's done like 1200 concerts
@CL-rt4co5 жыл бұрын
She also talks about an accident she has where she inhaled a bunch of chemicals accidentally (Pledge I think) and it did some damage to her vocal cords.
@HB-xf2xl4 жыл бұрын
She obviously isn't what she was 22 years ago, but I saw her last in 2017 and while I hated the backing tracks she used, her voice was spectacular, almost crystalline. I do wish on some songs she would take lower keys, though. Sometimes it does sound like she's struggling to still hit those high notes. The woman has toured the world upwards of 15 times, I think we can cut her a little slack.
@ixora23194 жыл бұрын
it also has a lot to do with how she’s mic’d, not saying tori needs auto tune or anything but her live (and studio) vocals could really use some richness and fullness. the way her mic feed is processed is very mono and dry, it doesn’t do many favors when her voice is admittedly a bit weaker in recent years.
