That is a perfect album,.. she's great...but I miss the great electric guitar playing here Live, that decorated that amazing album, and this song. I never see any clips with her touring with a guitarist. It would be cool to see her live with the addition of an electric guitarist to fill out her full Live sound. Not sure who played on "Pancake", I think it's Mac Alladin, or maybe David Torn or Robbie McIntosh.

On "Scarlet's Walk" the guitar was played by "Mac Aladdin" aka her husband Mark Hawley. Live she was accompained with an actual great guitarist until 1999: the irreplaceable Steve Caton as you can see here kzbin.info/www/bejne/pYvJlp9tn8R2oNU or here kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXfFn56jfqyFmpI After him she had Adrian Belew just for the "Strange Little Girls" album and "Mac Aladdin" for the rest to come. During American Doll Posse Tour she was forced to hire a real - and talented at least - guitarist: Dan Phelps but let me tell you that in my opinion her golden age of mesmerizing live performances with band ends when Caton leaves.

She toured with a guitarist back in 1996/7 I think it' was for boys for Pele s tour but not sure what year. Love Tori,s stage presence feels a long time since I've seen her live , must be three years. Took my brother to see Tori and then a rapper called Lowkey before everything got locked down. Tori has a new fan and he got me tickets for the Pixes next month can't wait.
