rewatching victorious made me realize we were robbed of tori and andre as one of nick's best friends to lovers couples (btw i hc them as bi4bi). i like both platonic/romantic tandré since i really love tandré's friendship!! this is all the tori and andre clips i compiled for season 1, might make a video on tandre moments for season 2 :)
(that scene in the pilot episode was a big win for tandre fans but youtube hates me so i had to cut it)

...I do hate to be a suspicious bastard, but I can't help but notice that the one time Nickelodeon didn't have their main female character and her dude best friend even _entertain_ the idea of dating was when it would've been interracial. Andre and Tori's friendship is honestly the reason why I was so hyped for victorious whenever it came on 😭 their interactions always made me feel warm inside. Like Andre was a really good friend to everyone, and kind. I think I had more of a crush on him than I did on Beck 😂 they have pure platonic chemistry, I wonder if they're friends IRL. It seems pretty hard not to be; I hear he's equally as down to earth and kind. No drama, and he writes for some major hitters in the music industry, not to mention his own work. I understand the need of having a true friendship between opposite sexes to show that it can be possible, however sometimes a good relationship need a good foundation as friendship so I think you can understand the dilemma. I don't remember many of the episode so I don't know if it changes but for what I can see in the comments it looks like she has a better friendship with him than with anyone else. So they are bff which is great, however, It makes you question why choose someone to spend your life with who doesn't even get to reach the same level of confort and affection that you have with your bff like I know not everyone is attracted to their bff and that's fine but if you want something more than sex why spend time with someone you don't care as much. And the thing is that in a TV show we tend to care for the cast but not for the side character that come for one episode to fill the need of a love interest, like, sorry but I don't know you.
