Terry #27 First off, no one ever asked you to say anything bad about anyone. Second, I was commending Tori on her amazing acts of being careful of what she says as a Christian. In James the Bible tells Christian's to "tame their tongue, for it brings blessings and cursings." In other words, we need to be careful of what we say because others could get the wrong idea about our fauth. I bet if she said it, some Christians and non-Christians would have told her off for it. Tori isn't married, so she shouldn't be "making love" with anyone as that would compromise her faith. If she was married, and was talking about her husband in the song, then that is a different story. I'm engaged to be married soon, and as a Christian, if I were to sing this song, (because I am a performer too) I would have changed the lyrics to something a little more PG. Lol I am a Worship Leader as well at my church, and I wouldn't want to confuse my congregation of what I hold true as a Christian. Tori did a good job at being cautious even with the lyrics of a song. Third, I didn't even know about H.E.R. OR Daniel Caesar before this song, and this is the only song I have heard from either one of them. Plus, there's nothing wrong with listening to secular music as a Christian...I listen to Tori Kelly's secular music all the time because they have good messages and are clean! I'd appreciate if you could speak in love and not cuss people out who are just giving an amazing performer an uplifting comment. I'll be praying for you! Thanks!
