Beautifully done! Love how you used the tapered offcuts like you did, love the pattern it made on the top! Great job!

Ian Knottenbelt thanks Ian! I was debating what to do with those off cuts for a while. I thought about some wall art pieces but I think I made the right choice

This is such a beautiful table. I like your bow jig to get the curves symmetrical. That's a very cool tip. And the pattern you used for the center design is so neat. Getting all those little pieces to fit together with the right angles...wow.
@JTWoodworks

Thank you! That jig is something that I threw together solely for this build and it worked wonders. Piecing together that center design is easier that it may seem as long as you have accurate jigs

Jigs can be a great thing! I don't use them nearly enough.

Figments Made they're great!! The set-up/making time of them definitely makes up in efficiency. Try to incorporate them in your next project

I really like this! Using the wedges for the top makes for a very interesting grain pattern on the top. This is the first of your videos I've seen, now I gotta see if you've got anything else I wanna check out

Would have gotten a smoother top finish using jack and smoother planes. Just saying. Nice project.
@JTWoodworks
@JTWoodworks 6 жыл бұрын
Thank you Phillip. Yes I would have but I don't have a smoother. I used my jack plane for a little bit but I was getting a lot of tear-out because it's in need of a sharpening. Sanding didn't take too long so I continued with that and I'm happy with the results. I still need to sharpen my jack though haha
