I listen to music that have a good message and have a great way of delivering that message. If you could tell me how songs like "Work from home" and "Cheerleader" have a good message than be my guest. And these are only the songs from recent months. Remember 2014, the year where every single song on the radio was about ass? Try telling me how great those lyrics where. I suppose you are right about that. There are quite a few, if not a lot of rock songs that don't seem to have a overall message acquainted to them. However in my experience those aren't the ones that get over-hyped and overplayed on the radio, so we don't notice it very often. Whereas I get really tired of constantly having the songs I mentioned earlier repeatedly come up on on every station there is, those are the ones that get really popular instead of this. Keep in mind this is all in my experience however, you might have a bunch of shitty metal songs come up our you local radio station, and you might have gotten sick of them, so I understand where you are coming from in that sense.

i found this song when i was 11. Ever since then, even as a little girl, i listen to it when someone breaks my heart. I listened to the song when my very first crush didn’t like me back, when the person who gave me my first kiss left, when my very first partner broke up with me because they realized they did not love me back and i was left behind with all these memories of which i didn’t know if they were real or fake anymore. I have connected this song to every single person i’ve ever felt romantic feelings for and every time without a failure this song makes me cry. It captures the emotion of questioning someone’s feelings so beautifully and sincerely that even as an 11 year old girl, barely speaking english, i was able to relate to this.

This makes me fucking cry because I had this thing with a boy like two years ago.. He was my first real crush. My heart began racing anytime I was near him, or if we texted or anything. He made me nervous and at the same time happy. I thought we had a thing. He live like three hours away from where I stay at, so we didn't see each other that often. Still, I bought him gifts for christmas, for his birthday or if I'd been on trips or anything. Never got anything from him, but still, I thought he was amazing and that he got me to smile was enough for me. I wonder if we ever had anything at all, if he even liked me, or if it all was just in my head. Every day from when I started gaining feelings for him, I cried, a lot, because I couldn't be with him. After a while I didn't seem that important anymore so we talked less... the conversations became really awkward. You know how it goes. And.. well... I never got to tell him how I felt. I think that's the worst part. He got a girlfriend with the same name as me, and that kind of hurt. He had known her for longer than he had known me though. But when I saw that he was with her, it crushed me. I've managed to let it go though. We don't talk anymore. I wonder if it was just all in my head. Because I never got to tell him how I felt, I'm afraid to open up to anyone. I just wish that someday I will find the right guy who will teach me how to open up. But in the end, he will always be my first crush.

We are all entitled to having our opinions and like. Yet I question myself... How could someone who is into music dislike this? This acoustic version seems as flawless as any studio version.
