You are a SAINT, sir. I've been working with Tormach tech support for weeks with no luck fixing this exact problem. Thanks again for this.

Thank you for posting this! We had the same problem, and were not making any progress troubleshooting it. Your fix totally got us back up and running. I appreciate you taking the time to make this video.

Thanks for the lead to solve my problem with computer not starting when power is applied. My BIOS battery went dead and I lost my bios settings. Had the same issue did with setting the date (could change the month and day but not the year) and came to the same conclusion you did (I couldn't read the instructions). The bigger problem I had was that the keyboard plugged into the back usb ports was not working and I could not get back into the bios after I replaced the battery no matter what keys I pressed during boot. I grabbed another keyboard (thinking the original suddenly went bad) and plugged it into the front port because it was readily accessible. I could now enter the BIOS on boot with F12. With some testing afterward, I determined that the rear usb ports are not active until after boot, but apparently the front usb ports are. To get it to power on when power is reapplied, my bios settings were a little different than yours. I had to go to Power Management>AC Back> and set it to Always On

This video saved my butt man. I was getting pretty frustrated troubleshooting this thing and thought my controller was fried after sitting for 3 years.
