Tornado 250cc, the good and the bad.

Where did you get the wheel bearings from ? I have the Pentora 250 and the bearings are the same as the Tornado 250 . Would yamaha Raptor 250 bearings work ?

Have you upgraded the carb yet ? I seen alot of videos where they upgrade the carb and exuasht and its comes to life lol I wanna replace mine but dont know how I would measure it or whatever to get ther right carb? Would you know ?

Im sorry its been so long i didnt see this comment. No, pretty much kept it stock besides extending the hose for the air intake. Ive seen other people upgrade them, but i didnt wanna dump money into something temporary. Ive since upgraded to a polaris sportsman 850, i should do a video on that as well 👍

Looking to buy a zongshen 250cc! Possibly replace the engine with a Japanese one but anyway what do you think for $700 used one?

If i could go back and do it all over again...id buy a used named brand one...a 250cc chinese brand runs like a 150cc name brand..parts are cheaper but harder to find...it would all depend on the type of riding you're wanting to do.

@@NorthJorgie89 now just outta curiosity you have a Tao Tao tornado and I have a RPS tornado (both 250cc) are there any differences on the parts?

@@phabiankupka3318 it seems to be about the same body style, and i am sure many parts are interchangeable, always double check on the parts youre wanting to replace.

Its so accessible that after every ride, id just spray it with some basic chain lube from the parts store...usually spray some on before i rode it as well.

That's the thing with them Ching chang ATVs. They use all cheap parts and the quality control is very low.
