I love your comments. BTW, this reminds me of a storm back in the summer of '79 when I was 7 or 8. We watched it from the 15th floor of the projects on Bedford Ave. Too bad there wasn't youtube back then. :)

Allegedly the storm was moving at 100mph+. I once driven into a Microburst and it was terrifying.

I like microburst even better! I'll lease the title though since its been that way so long now. :) Thank you though!

@ellieysama Hehe. Yeah the building is on what they say is the highest point in Brooklyn so you look down on all the other buidlings, even if we are only on the 13th floor. The builing is 15 stories (plus penthouses on top).

and strangely "If It Wasn't For You" by Various Cruelties goes perfectly with this vid.. I just so happened to have it playing in the background while watching this

Don't worry... Before this storm I never saw anything like this either. I made similar comments to my coworkers as it was passing through

Want to see one even worse? Check out the August 10 2020 Iowa Derecho. Over 100 MPH winds for 45 minutes to an hour over Cedar Rapids. Lots of videos on KZbin. The storm was so bad that even though there was no tornado warning for it, they sounded the tornado sirens 15 to 20 minutes before it hit

It was actually a Tornado, the actual Tornado was F-1 but in the middle around all of the rain (aka a Rain-Wrapped Tornado) plus you can see the winds moving in a circular like way, if it were a Microburst it would move in a straight line

I love country people who don't realize thunderstorms like this are RARE in New York City. Kinda like how they freak out in the South over snow flurries....OMG
@CS-np2oo6 жыл бұрын
Missy Glitter Vlogs Very rare in the Northeast. It's like how they freak out in Houston if there are report of snow flurries. Sounds like you unlike other posters have actually traveled in your life.
