A squall line is forecast to erupt just east of Omaha with embedded supercells capable of producing all hazards, including tornadoes! Team dominator is once again in #tornado intercept mode this late season severe weather event. Never stop chasing. Please Please Please do not track down (stalk), or even follow our chasers (physically...please do follow on socials!). It stormed here in St Joseph Missouri and there was a severe thunderstorm warning. Now there is a flood warning and the Missouri River will crest at 24 feet Thursday, so some low lying parts of the city may flood. It’s been raining quite a bit lately. My garden is going great with all the rain. I haven’t had to water much at all. I grew up in KC and we often had tornado watches and warnings, but they never seemed to touch down in the main part of the city. We’d just go to the basement and listen to Walt Bodine on the radio and eat sherbet from the basement freezer. I don’t ever remember feeling scared. After the storm the air smells wonderful and there is a lot of ozone in the air from the lightning.
