Don’t BSP realize that all rotational Whelen (except for the 2000-R’s) don’t have collector rings, instead they are directly wired, they just have (what I believe) a servo motor that spins in a 360 once, then does it again but in the opposite direction *(why can’t all rotational sirens be like this?)*

In all truthfullness, the lack of collector rings is a good thing. Collector rings on electronic sirens is actually very bad on the drivers. Aside from that, I've never heard of the wires breaking because of a lack of collector rings.

what if the oscillation switch fails and it keeps rotating the same direction. then you got problems. and my megablaster junior has always had collector rings and never had any problems with the speakers other than the amp chip overheating sometimes (probably due to the lack of a heat sink.). which is on the control board. here is a video i found on youtube that promotes the reason why rotational sirens need collector rings. also read its description. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eKTRZJ5qetBmiK8
