This would be an early 8/12 port, 3 phase ACA Allertor, which is wired up backwards. These older Allertors have the rotating mechanism configured differently than the later Allertors and Penetrators in the sense that the siren head will rotate the *opposite* way the chopper spins. Because the earlier 10/12 and 9/12 choppers were bidirectional, they could be hooked up either way without any loss in sound output. 8/12 Allertors, and 8/12 Allertors only, are supposed to be rotating clockwise at the siren head (since that's the direction it will go when the chopper spins counterclockwise) since the 8/12 chopper rotor was the only directional offering at the time it was made. As far as this having a P-10 horn, the Allertor horn was damaged in a storm back in 1991 so they fitted a P-10 horn to it.

If it's a former Allertor, it's probably a P-10 now since I think all 8/12 port Allertors used 10 hp motors

It's still technically an Allertor. The Allertor and P-10 are different sirens, even without horns. The most noticeable difference between the P-10 and Allertor would be the size of the shroud that goes over the rotation mechanism.

This is an Allertor with a P-10 Horn on it. It's a P-10 horn because of the larger cone. P-15's have smaller cones.

Lightning nope. It had a normal early allertor horn until it was damaged in a storm. It has a P-10 horn as a new horn and intake. And it is 8/12 so it is definitely not a P-10/15
