Tornado touches down in Indiana as remnants of Beryl move toward Midwest

A destructive tornado touched down in Mount Vernon, Indiana, on Tuesday as the remnants of Hurricane Beryl moved across parts of the Midwest.
The individual shooting this video was not harmed.

Hopefully they are in cover and the only way they can see it is on radar. Because 2 city's away there could be a tornado and a golf ball fly through the window and hit you. DONT STAND NEAR WINDOWS GO TO A ROOM WITH NO WINDOWS OR OUTSIDE WALLS. If you don't have a room with no windows stay in a hallway in the center of the house.just stay away from windows during storms. It's mostly the cause of a lot of deaths. People saying the tornado is not moving means it's coming toward you is bs because in this video it's easy to see but most Oklahoma tornadoes I've seen are rain wrapped you ain't gonna see it till it's to late.

Here's the thing. The panic response isn't fight or flight. It's fight, flight, or freeze. She's experiencing a freeze response. It's not good, but it helps to understand what kind of response you have. If you are a freeze person, I hope you have someone that is a fight or flight kind of person to push you into one of the other options. You can tell if a tornado is coming towards you if it looks like it is standing still but getting bigger. If you see it moving, then it probably won't come towards you.

As a lifelong resident of Oklahoma, if you can see a tornado, get to a safe location. They will lift and land randomly and it could be where you are standing. Get to the central location of the building and away from any windows. Centrally located bathrooms or closets are better than the freaking parking lot.
