Tarnado922 you have given me a very lot of information for Peterborough as you know we are going to great Yarmouth in September. From Birmingham New Street we will get off at Peterborough and get the Norwich train. To which should come into platform 5 6 or 7 thank you so very much for the information your a brilliant man

Hi Tornado922. Great film at Peterborough. Great 2-tone from 82214 at 24:26 too. Correct information for you: at 3:41, it was 180101 going to Bradford Interchange, at 15:30, it was 180103 with the green stripe going to Sunderland and at 30:33, it was indeed 180106 going from Bradford Interchange. To work out the numbers of the Adelante services, there is the same 5-digit number on the side of each carriage, and the last 2 digits of that number will help you work it out. For example, 50903 means it is 180103. I loved the LNER Azumas because I enjoyed hearing the whines and the squeaky brakes before they stopped. Loved their amazing acceleration too. Looking forward to next film at Shrewsbury. Kind regards, Chris.
@stevegoodall23252 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris. I have a feeling GC have messed with the sets as the first car was 50903 (ie 180103) but the rest of the set related to 180112. Is this something they normally do? Cheers, Steve
@chriswhitaker45772 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve. Maybe Grand Central have done it with some of their trains and not all of them, but I don't know for definite if it is what they normally do. Did I use the correct information about how to work out each 180 set on the Adelantes? Kind regards, Chris.
@stevegoodall23252 жыл бұрын
@@chriswhitaker4577 Yes, definitely. That's how I've always identified the 180's without a full set number. All the best, Steve

The reason the containers are loaded so randomly is because each container has a slot on the train. If for some reason a ship doesn't make it to port in time and doesn't make the train the slot is left empty.

Great video there as always! I am a fan of the Monaco Grand Prix incidentally even though not much probably goes on! Good to see you're into the MotoGP like me! Well I guess there's more than one racing fan that also likes trains eh? 😂 I also noticed that this was a premiere, so hopefully more to come. I didn't get the chance to get involved in the live chat... well a special day for us is happening to be fair but I found a break to watch this video. I have been on the Sonning Road Overbridge today and it was all right for a Sunday with plenty to be seen despite there being no freight.
@Tornado9222 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much, I do enjoy most of the races from the F1 calendar however Monaco isn't one of them. I find the racing very processional, the only time anything of interest happens is when something goes wrong in the pits. But I do love MotoGP much more than F1 I will be honest, the racing is always amazing no matter the track that they go to. I will be doing more premieres when I get the chance to as this one seemed to go down rather well with the viewers

180112 'James Herriot' was the 180 with the green stripe on it. Ignore the fact that it says 180103 on it. They've put some hybrid 180's out of late. That 180103 that you mentioned has three cars from 180101 in it for example. 180106 has the center car from 180103 I think as another example. Also 180107 'Hart of the North' is currently running as a four car unit as the first class coach from it has gone. More corrosion? Firstly 180110 for East Midlands Railway and now 180107 for Grand Central! 180107 should be back as a five car unit soon unlike 180110 though I would think. Who knows though!
