Like playing a game of bingo with the 800s and 387s the way you were getting through those numbers. Smashing film as always, keep up the good work Jarred and a thumbs up from me as always

I've gotta keep my game up when getting the numbers of the 800's at the best of times as they are tricky to get. But I'm glad you enjoyed watching this :)

Why are some of the IETs running in diesel power in electrified territory?
@Tornado9226 жыл бұрын
I honestly haven't got the faintest idea. To me it would make sense to run on electrified parts of the route with their pantograph raised and then once they reach Reading or Didcot they can then switch to diesel
@70humdinger946 жыл бұрын
That's what I thought too. Either something is missing in the train driver's training for the 800 units or they simply forgot to switch or just ignored it. Hopefully not an issue when (or IF) the LNER starts using their 800 units on the ECML which is all (or almost all) electrified.

Has the Marlow Branch line been electrified? I thought it had been canceled but it looks like it has been from your video?
@Tornado9226 жыл бұрын
The route has got the catenary up coming out of the station but I don't know how much of the line has been completed yet.
