Hi Tornado922. Great rush hour film at Linslade. Nice 2-tones at 1:14 from 37800, at 8:07 from 66760 and at 17:31 from 350374. Loved the 4-tone at 9:00 from 66726 too. I loved the sheep and lambs in the film. I laughed because every time you turned away from them, they started bleating and having a good old conversation with you. 😂 They're just as good as the pigeons (shame you didn't see any). Looking forward to next rush hour film at Kings Sutton. Kind regards, Chris.

Always a pleasure to watch your trackside videos from Linslade and this one was no exception. You're definitely not David Attenborough haha, more a Chris Packham or Bill Oddie. Lots of different traffic as usual and plenty of freight workings. The WCML IS the best mainline to see everything.

That was a massive load of freight there even if a lot of the container trains were lightly loaded! Looks like the sheep enjoyed watching you train spot too! Well then! Good to see the 319's back as well! We shall see if the 68's sing their song next time but a 37, a 47 and a 60 not too bad I would say for now! Too bad the 57 and 70 etc. were missing though!

Great video, good to see you outside of stations once in a while. Maybe that last 37 was the one hauling that 321 Greater Anglia unit in the beginning of the video, coming back home (nice train btw). The class 60 and 47 may be going to the same destination at Wembley iirc). Was there an amber or red signal ahead of the 20:00 onwards intermodals? Because class 66s are quite the powerful locomotive, so it shouldn't have much problem hauling those containers wagons (which were half empty, like most of the intermodals in this video). Nice to see some LNWR 319s as well. Will they really scrap those class 221s? Or are they going to an another TOC (like CrossCountry for example)? Apart from that, loads of 350s and 390s (with 390121 and 119), and loads of sheeps and lambs, with blue or red coloring sometimes on them, wonder why...
@Tornado9222 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much, I do enjoy going to trackside locations when I get the chance to do so. That intermodal train was running towards a Red but it changed to amber as it got closer. The 221's won't get scrapped, as far as my understanding goes they should get a new lease of life with Cross Country. The colours on the sheep and lambs are for the farmers reference when it comes to moving them around.
@Rosie-gd2mn2 жыл бұрын
how do you track them? So you know which ones are coming?

Tornado922 tracks the trains using a website called Real Time Trains. This then shows which services are due to come through each station.

@Tornado9222 жыл бұрын
You don't really feel the speed when you're on these services which makes the journey all the more relaxing. All of the trains running on the network are monitored by signal boxes across the UK to ensure they all stay on the correct line
