Professional storm chasers protect vehicle with POOL NOODLES and Flex Tape with gorilla hail threat

#ad On a day with high potential for gorilla hail in central Nebraska, professional storm chaser ‪@StormChaseTV‬ to protect his new vehicle by mounting POOL NOODLES over the sunroof with Flex Tape by ‪@FlexSeal‬
In the end, the storm chasing team intercepted a near 6" diameter hail stone near Burwell, Nebraska, and the pool noodle armor prevented the sunroof from blowing out. The supercell was also tornado warned as it dropped this largest of hail.

Hi Reed, I used FLEX SEAL tape to fix my camper's roof. It worked like magic and 2 years later, still holding strong and looking good. Great product.

I would have put flextape down the middle front to back three strips wide to keep noodles from bowing under high speed chases. Use the short pieces you cut off to cover baseball hole in middle of window. Might slow your wipers, but woild save your face. I'm looking for someone that will test out ceramic coating against glass damage and paint from hail and debris. The glass protection is so good it's better than wipers at removing water. Water just bounces off and doesn't stick

Well, goodness - for the most part- people are so enjoyable - each and every one - being so different one to another. Watching you Reed and listening to you - you are one of a kind. To be honest I've looked for flex tape at Walmart knowing that it would be a good product for the home or in the car when things take a beating or get old but honestly Reed- it's because of you that I would buy the product, no offense for the commercials but we know you have practical usage ideas for in the time of need. But- - - as I read these messages, not that it was a bad idea to have people stay on topic because I've dropped in on some pretty narley live chats and the silliness of some was quite distasteful and I have commented that there might be some storm chasers in the midst and it did seem to straighten them up for awhile but then again another day and another time they would be back to their silliness- you Reed weren't responding and who could blame you. But Reed for the most part the people are quite enjoyable though they may tell their dinner menu or talk about herbal teas. They talk about your menu Reed. But then I see complaints about someone trolling. I just dropped in and didn't catch it and am clueless to who they are talking about. But even when a stinker appears, everybody pretty much is busy watching the weather, listening to you and curious if they are in danger of the storms. People are greatful and thankful, I know I am. The only time I found myself having a difficulty was when we were having weather and I wasn't expecting it because you didn't say so but we're somewhere else. But now I know that one 😳. Storms can happen in places you aren't at. People put alot of stock - trust- faith in you and people ARE so thankful for the work you do. I guess I really didn't understand the pop up message probably due to the fact that I'm usually a pop in in the live chats unless your in our area. Hopefully people will enjoy the work you do and hold it in decent respect (most already do) but I also enjoy people's menus ect. Did Mike Star in Storm chasers back in the day with you guys? I think he's the short dude always wore a ball cap? I always liked that dude hes hilarious🙂. Also great idea with pool noodles those things come in handy for different safety scenarios. I've got little children that love to run around and play tag in the house. So I've got pool noodles around the edges and corners my end tables in my living room to prevent my kids hitting there heads on the tables and getting hurt when there playing. Pool noodles are one of the best inventions ever😎👍

That gorrila hail was nuts! I was on that storm as well but stayed to the SE of it to avoid that hail. I remember passing you all at that intersection holding the hailstones and being super thankful I didn't follow you (like your video disclaimer says, ha). There are foam 4X8 foam sheets. U can cut to size n get at a hardware store! Come in 1/2 or 3/4 inch thick foam. I think be easier to install than those noodles.
