I loved those Greensmasters, but I hated how the front rollers were so low. But I noticed that some aftermarket tires had more of a flat tread profile, and caused the front units and rollers to ride even lower! So we had to be careful to replace the tires with the same as factory. But of course the operator also has to be careful. That might be a lot to ask, lol. But anyway, you've got a good idea there.

yea when we had flat tread tires there were problems like to much greens contact. And you know the operator does what is best for them self's!

Just bought myself one of the 3100s been through a rough life, I need to replace the bearing on the front rollers, is it a quick process as they are flogged out to the max

If you are talking about the bearings on the larger front rollers it is a hard job. I did all 3 on two 3100s. I knocked off the end caps and then got the bearings out. Take your time!

@@ronstickle4694 yeah the front rollers that the catchers sit on are so sloppy from abuse so I needa replace the bearing in em, and I'm finding rusted hydraulic cables that are leaking on drive motors 🤦♂️ 2nd hand mower, what a nightmare Loses power to reels and speed when cutting too so most likely lower Hydraulic pressure from somewhere, Hydraulic fluid was milky as well 😂😂😂😂 project mower

I also have this same machine, We just got back our reel from the factory. This is on the job training for me. I am trying to put on the front rollers and they will not go on. It seems they are 1/4 inch too long. I have looked through the service manual and it does not address my problem. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you for your question! Not sure if it is the wrong part . But my job is to get it done at low cost! So if all is good but a bit to long i would cut 1/8 from the center shaft on each end and make it work!
