When you're making your videos you need to get more close-ups when you're doing carburetors can't see what you're doing

I would liked to have had one with self propel. I have the push mower version.

Ya, the rear drive is best. Front drives just scalp the grass and wear down the tires too fast!

Good comparison video on the swollen seat Ken. Actually had one carb here that the customer must have used brake cleaner or something that i do not know that totally melted the bowl gasket and rubber seat. I mean it came apart as a slimmy stringy rubber and took forever to get it clean enough to rebuild. Any idea of what might have been used by the customer to destroy this other than brake cleaner?

Good one. Question. Stabilizers are kinda what many people feel they need. Any suggestions?
@KensSmallEngineRepair Жыл бұрын
Stabil and Startron are ok, just avoid carb cleaners like STP and Gumout as they will swell the rubber seats

At EP we have been using K100S+ made in Jamestown, NY for 9 years as a stabilizer and Octane booster with no issues. Recently we have switched over to BG Super Charger 2 which is primarily sold to professional auto mechanics and will see how it performs.

@@waynestefinashen239 We used BG products when I worked at a local Honda dealership. Don't know if they're available off the shelf anywhere.

@@waynestefinashen239 Just curious. Why did you folks switch from K100S+ to BG?
@waynestefinashen239 Жыл бұрын
@@williamemerson1799 Jake had reviewed this product with a number of mechanics he knows and they all said it was an excellent product in the automotive field. Jake then contacted a representative which let him set up an account to purchase the product. We are presently using the BGSC2 but have not abandoned the K100S+ product. Some of our ethanol free fuel with each product dosage have been stored and dated and we will see if there is an issue starting a piece of equipment in one year. Our customers still can purchase either product but right know our fuel being used is dosed with the BG
