I like how Sebastiano cares, trains, and looks after his athletes as though they were his children. He gives me Cus D’ Amato vibes when he trained and cared for Mike Tyson 👌

Great Video. I’ve been participating and following Olympic weightlifting for 50 years and back in the day you might see the occasional Italian lifter but nothing like the last 7 or 8 years. I don’t watch the women much but the men’s team now has 5 guys who could/should be medalists at the Europeans (Massida,Zanni,Martinez,Nino,Ficco). My only small complaint is I wish coach Sabastiano had talked a little about training specifics-Bulgarian methods vs assistance exercises etc. Overall it was enjoyable though.

Is having 8 coaches considered a small number for the team?

I don't do powerlifts, and think it's super weird when people do them in regular gyms (man, this one guy at my current gym with his version of the "clean" 🤔), but I love watching pros. It really is an art. Looking at their depth and technique, it is an inspiration for my own regular lifting.
@thechosenone9310 ай бұрын
Well all of these “pros” did what you see in your gym as a “clean” so maybe don’t downplay someone’s efforts and focus on your own flaws
@spacecentergames10 ай бұрын
@thechosenone93 Spoken like someone that spins his wheels in the gym and thinks everyone is on steroids because they're in better shape. The video talked about recruitment in schools, which is pretty cool. I doubt that their team recruited out of Planet Witless. Your dreams dashed, Daddy-o. The guy in my gym is basically right out of those meme vids on KZbin. I call it a "clean" because that's the closest thing it resembles. But a jumping jack dry heave might be more on. He's a danger to himself, everyone else, and the equipment. Hospitalization will eventually remove him. I never thought I'd ever see a real meme. But it's more sad than entertaining. Oh, and he records himself for social media, even though it's against the rules of the gym. Yeah, Karen, keep applauding your boy on his Insta.

@@spacecentergames I don’t understand why people like you on the Internet do this. How did you assume how I looked like from a COMMENT? People accuse ME of being on steroids because of my physique. That statement is self explanatory. If he’s not doing cleans properly then he’s not doing it properly. It doesn’t affect your life in any way and yet you’re talking about him on a video sharing platform with an anonymous username. He probably doesn’t even think about you. This situation you created is the difference between people who think other people are losers and people who are ACTUAL losers. Your second comment highlights you fall into the second category becuase you typed a whole essay about a complete stranger. You are actually pathetic.
