My home town - Toronto is an awesome city ! Growing up in Toronto, there has never once, at all, where I felt unsafe and for the large size of the city, it’s exceptionally clean with great people. Fun fact : Toronto is also the 4th largest city 🌃 in all of North America. 🇨🇦

Foreigners always say that .. wait until you live there before opening your mouth. I lived in Toronto for 7 years and I would not even waste my time going back on holiday. People in Toronto are boring and all they think about is work. They like to call their city world class, but it is far from that. It is a boring mundane city.

Way too many condos and random buildings in Toronto that completely ruin downtown/lakeshore area. Downtown Chicago is more harmonious and much less chaotic, much more thought put in to the actual placement of the buildings and how they fit with the surrounding area, not to mention the actual architecture.

I agree with this. Chicago's downtown is more pretty & well planned. Outside of downtown however....yikes.

For sure, Chicago has its problems but architecturally it's more interesting and unique than Toronto. Downtown and lakefront are better but Toronto has its good parts as well. Very similar( don't think there's another city that's so similar to Toronto) yet very different cities.
