@@peterpachis2366 every time I've seen him play he is a liability. He's 26 and he's barely played at even MLS level. He's just not good enough imo. This 3 centre back formation Herdman is determined to use is not for everybody. He will need to bring in a couple of centre backs to stop us from leaking so many damn goals and players have to depart for this to happen. Nobody will want to buy Rosted, Gomis deserves at least another year and Long is our best defender. Mabika and O'Neil have to make way

What a brutal call to take that goal back. That was 💩. Actually, the ref made some terrible calls all evening. NYRB deserved to win, but the ref made it 10x easier for them. O'Neil stinks. Terrible defending didn't help tfc either.

The Toronto player was clearly obstructing the view of the goalkeeper that's why he tried to push him out of his way. That's why VAR was needed In the game of soccer. To correct obvious mistakes by the refs especially on goals awarded.

A push from the goalkeeper on an attacking player in the box is an automatic penalty shot so at the very least they should have been awarded a pk

Time for tfc to start over again. The Italian dps haven’t worked and even with both of them healthy and firing this team has TONS of holes. I like Herdman I could be wrong but it doesn’t feel like he’s to blame.

It was pathetic watching TFC at the end. A team knowing that they had to win to have a chance at the playoffs go on to: 1) Get a soft penalty called (Richie did his thing) and score, giving them life down 2-1 with 30 mins to go 2) Have O'Neill immediately bumble his way into another penalty and have the opposition score to make it 3-1 3) Have their best player and only real threat pick up a 2nd yellow (1st one for throwing a tantrum) unnecessarily and throw another tantrum 4) hit the crossbar with a shot 5) turn the ball over at midfield and give up a 1v1 breakaway to finish at 4-1. At home. In a game they HAD to win.

@@realflashkid Personally not much. The team has been miserable for a while. He helped a bit at the beginning, and got Fede to buy in, but his "Give it all you got!" motivation-guru stuff is probably wearing thin. I don't blame him, but he hasn't helped, either.

@@realflashkid needs a couple more transfer windows to bring in the players he wants to play his system. I personally hate 3 centre back tactics, but with the awful quality TFC have in that position it should hopefully be addressed before next season. Could use a proper centre forward as well. He inherited an overall bad squad, with the 2 italians that in no way can be sold, so do your best to build around them

Very sad game, more than half the stadium was empty. It's not even cold enough to wear a jacket yet not many football fans turned up. How do we expect players to put in extra if Toronto residents gonna stay home anyway

He was offside when the corner was taken which in turn obstructed the keeper from being able to make a play on the cross or the attempt towards goal

Etienne in an offside position interfered with the goalie's ability to make the save, in refs' opinion.

When a corner played directly into the box there is no such thing as offside given the ball is on the byline there can be no offside so your comment is incorrect. Obstruction is a weak weak call and looking at the replay the keeper pushed the ttc attacker in the back that should be an automatic penalty shot. The call here made zero sense and should be investigated and the ref penalized
