In this video, host Devyash Ranavat ( devyashrana...) of Toronto Film School will take us inside the 918 Bathurst Centre for Culture, Arts, Media and Education to show us clips from two student performed plays: The Tales of Canterbury and The Secret in the Wings.
You’ll hear from Acting for Film, TV and the Theatre Program Director Hart Massey, who will explain how this is the first time students of the program are performing in the “round”, meaning performances will take place in and around the audience - without the benefit or security of a stage. Students will talk about their experiences, and school president Andrew Barnsley will discuss how their skills have evolved during their time in the program.
You can access The Tales of Canterbury program to learn more about the production and cast, and The Secret in the Wings program.
Interested in becoming an actor? Toronto Film School’s Acting for Film, TV and the Theatre program will teach you the creative, technical and business aspects of the industry in just 18 months. You’ll graduate ready to nail auditions, with a demo reel of your best work.
