Robertson is a small guy, he isn't fast, he's not physical and is injury plagued. Trade his rights with Liljegren for more grit and someone who can contribute in the playoffs. Liljegren hears footsteps in the corners and isn't rugged enough.

Mike has no control over who's available. I like him generally and thought he did well on TSN. Not crazy about Dave though.

I agree with Robertson and Liljegren need to go. Both to small , not physical trade them for some one with more grit. And as much as Marner is great during the season . He is also to small and non physical for the playoffs. Add him in with Robertson and Liljegren in a trade and get 1 - 2 players and a goalie .

Robertson is finally healthy and has the opportunity to be first or second line by default playing with either mathews or nylander and he's throwing it away. What a dumb move to ask for a trade

If Robertson doesn't want to be a Leaf then trade him. The Leafs need a physical player with size, maybe Klim Kostin would be a possibility, I think he would be a good fit on the left wing.

I don't get the agonizing on what to do with Robertson. He has no spot in Toronto, wants out, so get rid of him. Get a 3rd round pick if you can. If Domi plays LW with #34 and #16, that puts Knies on 2nd line, and McMann on 3rd line. Not fabulous, Leafs need to keep their eyes open, but Robertson lacks consistency, injury prone, horrible defensively, and prefers non contact hockey. He's had his chances, blew all of them, enough is enough.

Nick had some run and didnt look good to me in the playoffs. Hes an nhl player and its frustrating when you see a pro not have the common sense to keep his stick on the ice. Hes supposed to be a goal scorer but for me hes been underwhelming.

Under the new coache's team playing style, Robertson is ANOTHER pushover! This team has more than enough, and don't need another small floater for the playoffs! Get another body on the cheap that has size and possible upside. You can't teach size!
