Did a YVR-IAD flight twice in December 2023 and Jan 2024 in business and economy respectively. I was comfy in both cabins a bit to my surprise. I did buy a meal in economy because hungry, and barely made the connection by a hair strand. Funny enough though, if i recall correctly, the original business ticket was cheaper than the economy ticket in January, so i got a wicked deal. Heading back in January 2025 but flying Delta this time

For international routes, they are complementary but for domestic, I believe they have since reverted back to selling them as part of the onboard service.
