@@jeffreycairns767 it's been good so far. The PP still needs work, the defense needs to be tighter and the first line still needs to get going properly. And too many stupid penalties. Should be a good test tonight against the Rangers.

@saltpeter500 Although there's a few changes I would make, overall it's been good. We know what the top line is capable of doing and considering how bad the defense has been in past years, it's a massive improvement. Even the goaltending is an improvement over past years. I would definitely split up the top PP though. Move Nylander and maybe Tavares to the 2nd PP and move Domi up. Also, the PK needs some work. Although it's been decent, over playing Matthews and Marner will hurt them in the end. There's also a few line changes that I'd make but it's not me or any fan, so let's hope the coach knows what he's doing. It really should be a good game tonight, despite the winner

Other people would do the "Punch Buggy" thing whenever they saw a VW Beetle drive by, but my best friend and I would do the "Berube Blazer". Berube wasn't a Leaf player for long (40 games in 1991-92) but I'll always remember either hitting my friend or getting hit by my friend whenever a Chevy Blazer would drive by. Treliving has been nothing short of excellent since he got here. There is not too much I can disagree with that he's done. You can always nitpick but I like the risks he picks to take, I like his philosophies on the game, I like the person and so far, I like the results. He hasn't had that much time in the grand scheme of thing and was put in a couple of tough spots, but he has proven that he has the balls to get the job done in Toronto. Berube looks like a great hire as well.
